Houserville UMC House of Hope has a new option for you! Starting this fall we will be offering a high quality after school program that provides homework support, healthy snacks, academics enhancement, Christian teachings, creativity and lots of fun! (For information on microsociety go to www.microsociety.org.)
WHEN: 2:45 – 5:30 Monday-Friday (follows the school calendar)
WHERE: Houserville UMC House of Hope, 1320 Houserville Road, State College
COST: $130 per month

“School and work come together naturally: snack time turns into a student run restaurant; older students conduct tutoring sessions to help younger ones with homework at Micro University; budding novelists write books and short stories in the student run cafe; and behavior infractions are reviewed in a court room of students leaders. It’s recreation plus academics and it’s fun!”

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL day today. We got to meet quite a few neighbors and have fun with their children coloring eggs, taking pictures with the House Of Hope New Life butterfly and a scavenger hunt.
Thanks to all those who planned, created and helped out with the event.
